REAL FIRST SNOW!

When: 7:30PMish yesterday to 7:00AM today
Where: Ottawa, ON, Canada.
How much: 25 FREAKING CENTIMETERS!!!!!!
Doing: Sleeping my head off.

25. Whole. Centimeters. YES, REALLY!!!! :) :). I was sleeping when this happened, and when I woke up it was like God cleansed the whole world with his purity. (Great analogy, huh?) I went crazy, yes again, and took a million of photos. Yes, again. I brought my iPod to school with me since my mom FINALLY allowed me after I deleted all of my games. *Sad face.* But can I tell you a secret? I DIDN'T DELETE ALL OF THEM!!!! I saved one, Ice Cream Jump. I managed to get away with it!!! Shhh!!!!! Okay, anyways. For my pictures.

First Snow!

When: 12:30ish
Where: Xinhua Chinese School.
How much: The fluffy snow probably piled to around 2cm.
Doing: Ping-Pong extra-curricular for Chinese School.

Yay! It snowed! The thick, fluffy and sticky kind! I hope it won't melt in a day. I'm really excited, but also not because I have to wear layers over layers and then I end up looking like a fat polar bear trying to squeeze through doors. I was at Chinese school playing ping-pong, and then the little girls started screaming "IT'S SNOWING!" At first I was like, What?!, but I looked out of the window and sure enough, it was snowing.
When Chinese School ended I rushed to my mom's classroom and yelled, "It's SNOWING!" I got a bunch of weird looks, and a shush from my mom. As soon as my mom was ready, we left the building and I probably took a million of photos outside. I'm going to post them here.

That's it! I took some more, but they were all really bad ones. The first two are at Chinese School, and the last one is the view from my building. I hope Older Laurel will see this and remember the first snow of 2013/2014!

First Blog Post!

I created this blog yesterday, a fresh start from my old blog, Laurel's World. It's still alive, and I'm keeping it like that so I can have memory flashbacks. As you can tell, Older Laurel, Laurel Right Now is very fond of keeping memories forever so you'll have something to see in the future. I've been adding gadgets and fixing my blog so it looks pretty. :) It has a notepad, Christmas photo, Three Generation photo, About Me, Friendship Quotes, and a Inspirational Quote. There's probably going to be more things coming, but I need time, because I'm a perfectionist that my friends liked to tease me about. I get it from my mom.

Anyways, enough of the rambling, and I'm actually going to start blogging. Hah, about time.

When: 7:57PM
Where: At home on my forever loyal computer.
Doing: Studying for a science test but currently taking a break.
Thinking about: Memories and.... Science.

The memory from today... Oh! Fifth Period, second last period of the day. The bell rings, and Mrs. Kohn dismisses us. Me and Emma packed up our things really quickly and headed to our lockers, we were just THAT eager to go home. And then Megan was like, "Um, guys? Where are you going?" And Emma and I said, "Isn't it the end of the day?" And Megan said, "No. Six Period FLA with Mme. Pierre, remember?" And Emma and I were like "...Ooh." We were laughing about it so hard later, how we were so excited to finally go home, but then Megan told us we still had a period left. Do you remember that, Older Laurel? It would be so cool if you did, it makes this blog have a point!!!

You see, I believe in memories, that they can make you smile whenever. No matter if they're nothing special, just a typical part of the day or a really important day, and a one that makes you smile or a one that makes you tear up, they're all memories. And that's something special.
